Seiya Suzuki went 3-for-5 with a double and a home run as the Chicago Cubs defeated the San Diego Padres 23-3. Suzuki drove in three runs and scored three times while drawing a walk in the contest.

Shane Drohan allowed two earned runs over 5.2 innings with seven strikeouts as the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Cincinnati Reds 4-2. Drohan scattered six hits and issued one walk on 78 pitches in the start.

Michael McGreevy took the loss as the St. Louis Cardinals fell to the Atlanta Braves 5-1. The right-hander allowed two earned runs over six innings while striking out three and walking one on 87 pitches.

J.T. Ginn earned the win as the Athletics defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 7-1. The right-hander allowed one earned run over six innings while striking out four and walking five on 104 pitches.

Seth Lugo took the loss as the Kansas City Royals fell to the Tampa Bay Rays 4-0. The right-hander allowed three earned runs over six innings while striking out seven and allowing nine hits on 85 pitches.

James Wood went 2-for-4 with a home run as the Washington Nationals defeated the Boston Red Sox 10-2. Wood drove in three runs, scored twice and drew two walks in the contest.

Spencer Miles earned the win in relief as the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the New York Mets 9-3. The right-hander tossed three scoreless innings with five strikeouts and one walk on 46 pitches.

Heliot Ramos went 2-for-4 with a home run and a triple as the San Francisco Giants defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks 6-4. Ramos drove in two runs and scored twice in the contest.
