Carter Jensen went 2-4 with two home runs and five RBI as the Cleveland Guardians won 12-9 over Kansas City Royals.

David Peterson allowed no runs over five innings as the Boston Red Sox won 2-0 over Chicago Cubs.

Will Warren earned the win as the New York Yankees defeated the Baltimore Orioles 6-3. The right-hander tossed 3.2 innings, allowing 3 hits and no earned runs while striking out 7 and walking none on 54 pitches. Warren stranded an inherited runner and kept the Orioles off the board in his outing.

Pete Alonso powered the Baltimore Orioles past the New York Yankees. He went 3-for-5 with two home runs, three RBI and two runs scored. Alonso’s power display helped Baltimore secure a 10-2 victory in the contest.

Munetaka Murakami slugged two home runs and drove in three runs to help the Chicago White Sox defeat the Colorado Rockies 6-1. He finished 3-for-4 with two runs scored in the victory.

Hunter Brown took the loss as the Houston Astros fell to the Athletics 6-5. Brown worked 5.1 innings, surrendering two hits and one earned run while issuing four walks and striking out four.

Brandon Young suffered the loss in the Baltimore Orioles’ 6-3 defeat to the New York Yankees. The starter allowed one earned run over five innings, striking out six and walking three on 82 pitches.

Brandon Pfaadt earned the win as the Arizona Diamondbacks defeated the San Diego Padres 11-4. He tossed 7.2 innings, allowing nine hits and four earned runs while striking out seven and walking two.

Jacob Lopez picked up the win in the Athletics’ 6-5 victory over the Houston Astros. Lopez allowed one earned run across six innings, striking out four and walking two while scattering two hits.

Jedixson Paez earned the win as the Boston Red Sox shut out the Chicago Cubs 2-0. The reliever tossed five scoreless innings, striking out five and allowing three hits without issuing a walk.

Geraldo Perdomo delivered a multi-hit effort with two walks and four RBI to help the Arizona Diamondbacks defeat the San Diego Padres 11-4. He added a double, triple and two runs scored in the win.

Spencer Torkelson went 3-for-4 with a home run, triple and double, driving in three runs as the Detroit Tigers edged the Pittsburgh Pirates 8-7. Torkelson scored once in the contest.
