ESCAPE THE MATRIX – PITCHERS EDITION

July 15, 2026 · RFF- Inner Monologue · Ryan Felix Fernandes

You’re a LOSER.

A PION in the cesspool of your league’s standings.

A NOBODY in the world of fantasy baseball.

You are yet again at the precipitous end of another season of failure.

You and your mediocre fantasy baseball team.

With your mediocre lineup.

And mediocre pitching staff.

You cry and whine about your team.

Yet 99.9% of you have done nothing about it.

You wish and you hope and you pray for something better.

You think you are entitled to win? Without putting in the work?

You need to realize something.

You don’t have to live like this.

Being a worthless pion just losing while everyone else around you is winning.

You don’t have to be the joke of your league.

I can give you the tools to be a winner.

But yet some of you will just read this and hesitate because you are afraid of change.

You are scared of the unknown.

It’s too difficult.

You rather stay in the Matrix.

You’re happy being a loser.

Yeah, YOU!

The same moron sitting in last place while everyone in your fantasy league is laughing at you.

WAKE UP!

THERE IS ANOTHER VERSION OF THE UNIVERSE THAT AWAITS YOU!

You need to understand something.

It’s so easy to win!

The first step is to take a step back and look at your fantasy team.

Take a real look.

Step into the real world then decide if your team has an actual chance of making the playoffs.

You need to look at the chess board and make the correct move.

Once you come to the realization that you need to change instead of staying at the bottom of your division.

You can move forward.

KNOW THIS!

It’s you against your fantasy league.

It’s you against the world.

It’s you against the laws of the universe.

It’s you against the law of physics,

It’s you against the cosmos,

It’s you against the simulation

It’s you against yourself containing you!

Look at me…

Years ago I escaped the Matrix and embraced the struggle.

I gave up everything to study the insides and outs of the statline to become the most successful fantasy baseball manager in the game today.

I’ve won hundreds if not thousands of championships!

I’m known through the fantasy baseball multiverse.

The most well-known and renowned fantasy baseball expert in the world today.

I can take your team and win right now.

There is nothing I cannot do.

Not only do I have all the credentials and accolades to back this up but I own and experience every luxury you can think of.

I drive a 2019 Volvo S90.

I own a one bedroom condo on the top floor of a five story building.

I only drink Fiji water.

I play MLB the Show ‘25. (I’m not paying $70 for ‘26)

Every fantasy baseball analyst envies me! (especially Ross Jensen)

I’m a winner!

And you can be too!

There is a version of you that never fails…

It is waiting for you.

Genuinely ask yourself this question.

Do you want to win?

Really ask yourself that question because some of you are doomed to lose.

WHY?

You are afraid of what everyone in your league will say.

You can’t handle the pressure.

You’re afraid of the struggle.

You are content to be in the abyss of mediocrity.

ARE YOU AWAKE YET?

EVERYONE IN YOUR LEAGUE IS LAUGHING AT YOU!

AND THE ONLY WAY TO EXACT REVENGE IS TO WIN!

ESCAPE THE MATRIX of MEDIOCRITY.
